The Prequel Night: The Turning Point!

This is where it all began...



It is a hot and vibrant evening in London town towards the end of August... me and Alex are wondering how to exploit this!

We get this call informing us of a house gathering taking place and this seems like the perfect way to chill out and be bros, however the only problem about this house gathering is the the boy to girl ratio... it turned out that for every female attending the party there were 2 guys... and five girls turned up so that was 10 guys... get the jist? But technically there were 4 girls because one of them was officailly dating the host of the party. So out of the 4 girls how many of them would actually be hot? Well to my knowledge there is always at least 1 or 2 really hot girls that attend a house party... if this is the case then the the rest of them will be ugly (this fact is reviewed later in the Butters Friend Law). Finally, who's to know that the 'hot' chick won't have a boyfriend or something?

After weighing up these facts, i was really disincouraged to going to this party... initially i had submitted to attending our very own Mclaren's pub aka The Greyhound (discovering this pub is another story i will tell another time) and attempting my luck of pulling a women there.



This good people was not the BRO way of thinking and frankly Barney Stinson would be ashamed of me! This point was rammed home by best friend and chief wing-man Alex Andreas as he swiftly recited The Bro Code Article #57 "A Bro may not speculate on the expected Bro / chick ratio of a party or venue without first disclosing the present-time observed ratio." It was immediately agreed that we had to attend this party!



As we got there my theories became evident and bold as there were only 2 chicks at the party when we arrived, however Alex persisted in staying and conquering this party bro-style. So we are in the garden chilling when suddenly 3 chicks arrive... immediately a beautiful finnish girl caught my eye... This was the perfect situation to test out our wing man skills! As i only wanted the finnish girl, it was obvious that her 2 other friends would be a problem. But this did not fase me or alex as we knew our roles. We approached the drinking area where the girls were situated and proceeded to reel them in...



To cut the wing manning part short ( i would prefer not to reveal our tactics)... 2 hours later i was in a room getting with this hot finnish girl who everyone was after! Now im not gonna sit here and gloat about my pulling skills, instead i will thank Alex because i know without him this would have not been possible. Like a true wing man he selflessly donated for the cause... and that was to make sure i captured my target.



The prequel night for me is not about how i got with the hottest chick at the party against all odds, but instead it is about the true spirit, belief and perserverance of my wing man Alex because without him this would have never happened... so i say dedicate this night and my success to him... the work of one man was done my two and with that more was achieved. So take note and find yourself a Wing man that is true to the cause.

The Prequel Night

So this night began in my house...

Me and Zad are in my room and i tell him "Tonight we will test out the power of the wingman", he agreed but we needed hunting ground.

So we get a call about a house party, but we know the ratio is gonna suck. Zad suggests we think about a plan B place to go, understandable, but according to The Bro Code Article #57 "A Bro may not speculate on the expected Bro / chick ratio of a party or venue without first disclosing the present-time observed ratio." And it was settled that we go to the house party.

The ratio in the house is 10 guys : 2 chicks.....bad odds but the night is just about to start! So me and Zad are in the garden sitting on the bench talking then new people enter the garden. 3 chicks. One is not on the radar but the other 2 are without question HOT

So there is me and Zad in silence observing the newly developed situation.... they are by the drinks....so we automatically moved in to get the "drinks". Our tactic was simple, don't talk to them directly....to put it in a better way, talk about something to get their attention to get them to talk to us first.

Luckily we discovered they were Russian and Finish. So we got their attention haha Zad managed to string some controversy into our convo, they all turned around and we were in. The Finish chick liked Zad straight away....but the other two were gonna be a problem to this situation so i managed to lure them away from the Finish chick to leave Zad to do what he does best!

A few bottles of Vodka later and im inside the house and Zad is about to clinch his target, but we have a new problem.... there are some guys taking about jeopardising the situation and trying to get her away from Zad. So im a little drunk but i say to the guys "who here thinks they can challenge me to Vodka shots?" these guys being Eastern European meant the reply was a guaranteed "Hell Yeah!"


So i left him to it....well i stumbled back into the room 2 hours later... well put it this way...what happens at the house party STAYS at the house party but check it out!

The Rules!

Before this journey began, Zad and Alex educated themeselves upon the rules of the bro code. The full book has never been found, however some articles still exist today! Here are just a few key rules to be considered as a BRO:

The Bro Code Article #1

Thou shalt not sleep with your Bro’s ex-girlfriend.

The Bro Code Article #53

A Bro shall, whenever possible, provide his Bro with protection.

The Bro Code Article #60

Should a Bro be near to closing with a girl, his Bro shall do anything within his means to ensure the desired outcome, up to and including the seduction of said girl’s wildly unattractive cousin / friend / mother.

The Bro Code Article #62

In the event that two Bros acquire the same target, the Bro with the longer dry spell has dibs. Should the dry spells be of equal length, a game of discreet roshambo shall determine the outcome.

The Bro Code Article #68

If a Bro is on a hot streak, another Bro will do everything possibly to ensure its longevity, even if that includes jeopardizing his own records, the missing of work, or temporarily immigrating to a foreign country.

These are just a few of many "bro codes" that Zad and Alex followed before they began their hunting.
